We still have space for our 2012 CSA. It has been a great winter (no Snow!), and we look forward to an even better spring. Life has been busy. We are ahead on the apple pruning, because of the great weather, and Mom and I went to two gift shows to shop four our gifts to sell this year. We went to Philadelphia and New York. We purchased some beautiful things that are affordable. It was fun to go to Philly, we have not been to that show in a while. There were some gorgeous patterns on the quilt throws we bought, and we purchased a lot of thoses rubber trivets in cool patterns. those work great, I use them all the time.
I have been cooking a lot, like usual. I tried a nice Spaghetti Squash recipe that a customer gave us, Delicious. I will keep experimenting for some new recipes to give out this year. My husband freezes and cans so much , I have all the available ingredients. We went to Ibiza this weekend, and it was the usual fabulous food. They come to our store to purchase the freshest ingredients. Same as Glenwood and Kellys Kone. It is great to work with other local business. We signed up for the Hamden Chamber of Commerce Business Expo! Nancy and Meegia at the Chamber certainly strive to make local business come together. Happy Valentines Day.
