Hi everyone. Our 2012 CSA sign up starts now. Go to our website at www.hindingersfarm.com to signup. We are looking forward to another great year! We ordered our seed the other day when the weather was too cold to go outside and prune. There are lots of new things coming up this year! We ordered Padron Peppers, more Walla Walla onions, Red and Yellow Peppers, and more of everything hoping we have a great year.
I started on some new recipes. I subscribed to “Fine Cooking” which is a fabulous magazine about food. One of oue CSA members is involved with this publication. I recently tried the Potato Rutabaga Gratin, which was excellent. I am going to try and do more recipes on the veggies that people requested.. Most everyone said “what do I do with these Rutabaga?” Thanks to everyone that gave me recipes, it helps! I love to cook, and the wintertime gives me more time to experiment. We are still working 6 days a week, but not the hours we do spring to December. Thank God!
