Hi everybody. We are super busy at the farm these days. Lots of planting now. Leroy, Stanley, and Ray are planting Tomatoes, then Peppers and Eggplant. Will is harrowing more ground for Tomatoes, and George is planting more corn. This will be his fourth field this year. The vegetables look great. We got hit a little with the frost on our fruit crops. You will not notice in the stand, but we probably will not wholesale much this year. We have to save all our goodies for our good customers! I took pictures of everyone doing their jobs this morning. It is great to be outside today. Our strawberries are coming soon. Super early. Check next week to see if we have some! I had a taste today. They are so sweet! Our Strawberry Fest is June 16th. Glenwood will be there and Kelly will make our Strawberry Ice Cream. Hamden Happy Tails Foundation will have an adoption event as well during the fest. Brian will be there making Ballo
on Animals, and we will have tractor rides.
The stand is going well. We have lots of our own Asparagus now, and loads of native Spinach. The Hangers and all the rest of the plants are doing Great. They love all this sun and warmth. Hope to see you soon.
